Led by Chris Briggs-Hale, Green Box Arts campers shared their Green Mountain Falls experience through song, dance, and colorful presentations of their new knowledge of the environment and stewardship. The Green Box Arts Camp for children in Grades 3 to 8, is a collaboration between ARTs14 and Green Box Arts, supported by the Kirkpatrick Family Fund. In partnership with Manitou Springs Arts Academy and Concrete Couch, the camp works in the natural environment and gives the students an opportunity to create their own art installations, inspired by the festival's featured artist, Bruce Munro.

Chris Briggs-Hale led the very first ArtDesk Conversation at the 2015 Green Box Arts Festival, also creating discussion around arts education and young academics. Briggs-Hale is the Ute Pass Elementary School principal in Cascade, Colorado. Joining Chris in conversation was Maria Navaratne, director of ARTs14 and the 2017 Green Box Arts Camp. Maria is a teacher, organizer and entrepreneur from East London, UK, who now works with children and arts education at the Manitou Art Center in Manitou Springs.

This ArtDesk Conversation was moderated by Chris Briggs-Hale.
