Join Chef Andrew Del Giorno in this hands-on demonstration learning how to make your own chocolate bar from scratch. Participants will go through the process of toasting cocoa beans, grinding them and processing to make chocolate. Three types of chocolate will be featured including Mexican Dark, Somalia Milk Chocolate and Peru Dark by using different percentages of milk, sugar, and other ingredients.
Once the desired chocolate has been made, participants will learn how to pour and form into candy bars as well as infuse the bars with other types of ingredients to make flavors such as coffee bean, salted, or caramel.
