Clowning Around with Shakespeare
Clowning Around with Shakespeare in partnership with Theatreworks– a professional theatre company in residence at the Ent Center for the Arts at UCCS.
June 13th through 23rd, Tuesdays to Fridays (8 days). For rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Shakespeare outdoors! This camp for middle-schoolers is led by celebrated professional Shakespearean actor and teacher Sammie Joe Kinnett. Kinnett will be joined by other local teaching artists to explore the language and comedy of Shakespeare. No experience is necessary for this camp- just a love for performance, Shakespeare and laughter! Students will also create original pieces based in the language of the bard and share some of their favorite skits and giggles on our final day in the forest.
*No refunds allowed within 14 days of the start of camp. No refunds after camp has begun.
