As we mourn the loss of Louisa McCune, we are deeply indebted for all her work on behalf of Green Box over the years as an advisor on our Board of Directors.  For Green Box, Louisa worked tirelessly on many fronts, most visibly through her curation of our ArtDesk Conversation series, which began in 2015.  Louisa moderated a number of these conversations annually during our Festival, including sessions with Temple Grandin, Douglas W. Smith, Signe Wilkinson, and most recently Pulitzer-Prize winner Emily Nussbaum, just last month.  She was instrumental in creating Green Box’s Pooch Parade in 2021, and served as an Executive Producer on the Happy Hour with Chris & Larry video series, bringing Green Box to the world during the height of the COVID pandemic.

Additionally, Louisa helped Green Box develop our Adventures Outside The Box travel series, joining Green Box groups on trips to Montana and Miami in recent years. 

As the Editor-in-Chief of ArtDesk Magazine, Louisa continually promoted Green Box’s artists and activities in the publication.
