Rogue Objects

Join us for a work-in-process presentation of Rogue Objects — an immersive, operatic work for planetariums that invites us to approach darkness with curiosity and wonder, without fear.  Artists Janani Balasubramanian and Sultana Isham will share excerpts of the evolving methodologies, text, visual life, and musical score in the work.

Rogue Objects is based on the work of the brown dwarf astrophysics group at the American Museum of Natural History and supported by developmental funding from the Sundance Institute, Camargo Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Opera America, and HERE Arts Center.
