Karin Ellis is honored to be curating her fourth annual Farm and Art Market for Green Box. This year she’s focusing on her recent trip to the vast and bio-diverse  island of Sardinia, Italy  and its inspirational layers of depth and  understanding of seasonal eating, preservation of their ecosystem and sustainability. She will be curating this experience with the vast array of products Colorado has to offer and some other specialty items. Her vision for this was based upon a beautiful port town in the La Madalena Archpipelago named Porto Rafael. It was created based upon “Sognare e Viviere” which means to dream and to live. Come experience this colorful and carefully created market. Karin has applied these principles in the past years, while writing recipes for a statewide CSA, designing a sustainable menu for The Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs, a community sustainable fundraiser with Frost Livestock now citywide. She creates her own path based upon her own passions, ethics and desire for great health  to guide and support a community she deeply cares for.
