This holiday season, multidisciplinary artist Blake Pfeil will transform the Sallie Bush Community Center into a stage for sound with Fading Transmissions from a Republic of Ruins and Ghosts. Produced under the banner of his Ambie Award–winning abandoned: The All-American Ruins Podcast, Pfeil will workshop this 40-minute immersive sonic performance blending personal narrative, intricate soundscapes, and live foley art. Inspired by abandoned spaces across Colorado’s Front Range and his own complex roots in the region, Pfeil’s experimental installation invites audiences to explore memory, faith, identity, the underbelly of American culture and history, and the healing power of imagination through the language of sound itself. Join us for this one-night-only world premiere before the work launches as part of Season 4 of abandoned: The All-American Ruins Podcast in Spring 2026.
