6-7PM: Come early before the Badda Boom Brass Band  takes the stage to enjoy new and old friends with your own picnic or grab food & grog from the vendors on hand.  Lawn games will be available.  Additionally, prepare to be amazed as Aerial Aura takes flight.  Performing throughout the 6PM hour, right on Lake Street, Aerial Aura promises to elevate your festival experience to new heights through breathtaking aerial acrobatic performances that blend artistry, strength, and beauty. 

BADDA BOOM BRASS BAND AT 7PM: Infusing the soul of New Orleans street music into an eclectic mix of hip hop, funk, party-anthems and world music, this Denver-based band headlines our annual 4th of July Block Party this summer!  For the last decade, the group has built a reputation for bringing the party wherever they go with their spectacular blend of upbeat dance music.  They expand the brass band genre with their rapping frontman and unique instrumentation.  “There ain’t no party like a Badda Boom party!” And then, following their concert, the Badda Boom Brass Band will lead us in a second-line style parade down to Gazebo Lake for 4th of July Water Lantern Launch. 

WATER LANTERN LAUNCH AT 9PM. Our 4th Annual Water Lantern Launch is the perfect way to end your 4th of July Green Box activities.  Come into our Design Studio in the days leading up to design your own paper lantern ($10 each) and join the hundreds who make a ring around Gazebo Lake to witness this light-filled expression of calm and serenity.  An ideal way to honor and remember the independence we celebrate.
