A Choreographic Ritual
Saturday, November 8
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Please note updated time!)
Meet at the Sallie Bush Community Center and then we’ll walk together to the Earth Benches
A Choreographic Ritual Presentation created & Shared by Helanius J. Wilkins in collaboration with Brandon Welch. Free & open to all!
This is not a traditional performance. It is a thoughtful, movement-based offering — a choreographed ritual rooted in deep community listening and creative inquiry, this experience invites attendees to slow down, observe, and hold space together. This culminating event emerges from Systems for Care and Repair, a series of community engagements held in and around Green Mountain Falls. It is part of the larger, evolving work: The Conversation Series: Stitching the Geopolitical Quilt to Re-Body Belonging — a long-term journey of dance, dialogue, and social transformation.
We will gather at the Sallie Bush Community Center at 11:00 AM (note the updated time), then walk as a group to the nearby Earth Benches for the presentation and a short reflective conversation to follow.
Please note: This event will be video documented for archival and creative purposes in support of the broader project.
