Expressing Green Mountain Falls: Experimental Drawing with Nancy Blasi

This 3-hour studio class explores experimental drawing and intuitive art techniques to capture forms and feelings that contribute to your sense of place in Green Mountain Falls.  Participants will engage in mark making and drawing exercises and collect natural and human made ephemera before heading to the studio to put it all together.  Results will vary and may include collage, painting and drawing…or combinations of those forms.  No experience necessary, just an openness to explore a special place, try new techniques, and create an authentic piece of art.   
 
Nancy Blasi is an artist, educator and Naturalist based in the Boston area.  Her work explores the possibilities of materials and is grounded in experimentation and nature.  Her work has been exhibited at the Arlington Center for the Arts, Montserrat College of Art, the Worcester Art Museum, the Loading Dock Gallery and the Concord Art Association.
