Fabric Paper, Prints & Paint with Barbara Diamond

Studio 4 – Green Box Workshop

Create fabulous collages on paper-like fabric. Using Gelli plates, you will print directly on fabric using paints and inks with stencils and hand-crafted stamps. During this class, students will print on a variety of organic and imported rice papers, tissue and mulberry, layered with pastels and glazes to compose unique collages.

Barbara Diamond is a mixed media artist and art educator. Originally from New York City and then New Mexico before moving to the Pikes Peak Region, Barbara graduated from CUNY in Art and Art Education and later attended Colorado College’s Graduate School in Southwest Studies. She has been teaching at the Bemis School of Art for 30 years, and continues to provide workshops and college-level courses throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
