Vanessa Nassif (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
For over two decades, Vanessa has been a dedicated full-time educator, supporting individuals, training programs, and corporations through the lens of yoga and anatomy. As the former Co-Director of Education for Bhakti Barn’s teacher training, she spent eight years developing comprehensive 200 and 300-hour certification programs with a multi-disciplinary faculty. Vanessa’s commitment to healing was forged at age 20. While a student at NYU, a life-altering medical crisis shifted her path from theater to wellness. Emerging with deep wisdom and a devotion to service, she now channels that resilience into her work as an advisor and educator. After 23 years in the NYC metro, Vanessa and her husband are grateful for a new chapter in Manitou Springs.
Rebecca Burdick (Fridays)
A E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, Rebecca is a native of east Tennessee, but currently resides in Colorado Springs where she teaches public yoga classes and teacher training programs with Cambio Yoga, a popular and award winning donation based studio in the heart of the Springs. She also teaches mindfulness and wellness for the global non-profit Center for Creative Leadership. Rebecca has worked extensively in the Pikes Peak Region as a yoga teacher for a decade, and as an actor/singer/educator for twice as long.
Lora Lantz (Saturdays & Sundays)
Excited to return for her second year teaching yoga with Green Box, Lora is a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist with more than 22 years of teaching experience. Based at Cambio Yoga, she also serves on the teacher training faculty and mentors emerging instructors. Lora’s alignment-based vinyasa classes integrate mindful movement, breath awareness, and thoughtful sequencing to create a practice that is both grounding and energizing. She also works as a wellness facilitator with the Center for Creative Leadership, bringing mindfulness and movement practices into leadership development. Her classes invite students to slow down, connect with their breath, and experience the clarity and balance that yoga can bring, especially when practiced outdoors in nature.
