Andrea Lodico

Andrea Lodico is New York-based RYT-500 yoga teacher and arts manager. Since 2004, yoga has been a source of joy and calm within the hustle of life in NYC. She found yoga through dance, beginning a new journey of movement and discovery. Her classes are infused with playfulness and dynamic, breath-centered sequencing in which students move from a strong foundation of alignment. The aim is to create a pathway for movement, breath, and self-inquiry so students can gain insight, bolster their strength, and ultimately, step into their lives with more ease and clarity. Her classes offer a vigorous, lighthearted practice and intelligently-aligned vinyasa flow to encourage somatic awareness, inspire curiosity, and empower.

She is filled with gratitude for her teachers and the community that yoga has brought into her life, having completed a 200-hour certification at mang’Oh yoga in 2014 and a 500-hour training in 2017 at Boston Yoga School in Boston, MA under the mentorship of Ame Wren and Kevin Courtney. She received a 75-hour advanced certification through The Sacred Fig and Kula Yoga Project with Anton Brandt and Nikki Vilella in September 2019. Andrea co-founded The Yoga Life Retreats with Sara Blumenkranz, which offers both destination and virtual retreats. She is also the Director of mang’Oh yoga’s Teacher Training and first offered yoga as a part of the Green Box Arts Festival in summer 2021.

Marcus Berardino

Marcus Berardino began exploring the devotional path of mindfulness and yoga after moving to New York City in 1995. Yoga was a salvation of healing from the stressors of urban life. After dabbling for several years in various styles, including Hatha and Ashtanga, in 2008 he attended Laughing Lotus teacher training where he received his certification in Vinyasa yoga. In 2010, he completed his second 200-hr certification through Prajna Yoga. Marcus is also a NYS licensed massage therapist.

Designed for all ages and backgrounds, his teaching style integrates creative sequencing with a sense of humor. Utilizing breath awareness and structural alignment based on his many years as a bodyworker, classes can challenge the most advanced practitioner while encouraging the development of self-expression through yoga at all levels. His life and teaching motto is: ‘Be kind, work hard, have fun!’

In addition to teaching private and public classes, he has taught yoga retreats around the globe including India, Turkey, Vermont and upstate New York. He has also mentored at several teacher training programs at Prema Yoga Brooklyn, where he teaches public classes.

He also teaches MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) meditation privately, and with various business organizations such as IBM, Google and Ameriprise Financial. With a passion for the healing power of yoga, meditation, and massage he is grateful for the opportunity to help others develop their own mind-body rituals both locally and globally.
